The role will be to carry out periodic and minor rectification work in a variety of domestic and commercial properties across our vast social housing and private client base. Adhering to health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times. The role will be based in Staffordshire & surrounding areas and will be mostly field based.

Job Duties:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
  • Provide professional assessments and advice for customers
  • Review maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • An industry recognised Level 3 qualification (Electrotechnical Services/Installation or similar) with recent experience
  • Air Conditioning
  • 18th Edition (2018) certification
  • Valid ECS Card
  • Full, clean driving licence

Service & Breakdown Engineer (renewable)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Renewable Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a well established organisation based in Staffordshire.

The Role:

To carry out repairs by fault finding to renewable energy systems and appliances. To also include fault finding for heating/plumbing systems and appliances.

Breakdown and service of renewable energy systems, gas boilers, burners, boilers pumps, pressurisation units and valves etc.

To keep accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used.

To undertake, where necessary, associated work as identified on site.

To identify, from inspection, materials required to carry out repair or installation to the required standard.

To undertake all work in accordance with Health and Safety policy statements and safe working practices.

Requirements:

Must have the appropriate qualifications:

BPEC Domestic Heat Pump Systems

BPEC Domestic Solar Thermal Systems

Unvented Hot Water Systems

Water Regulations

Domestic Gas

FGAS would be desirable.

The suitable candidate for this role should be experienced, punctual, polite and open to expand their skills.

Keeping the office updated on all jobs during reactive works

Must have good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively unsupervised

Good understanding of Health and Safety

Excellent customer service skills

Flexibility in working arrangements (willing to work outside normal working hours when needed)

The confidence and experience to determine the appropriate methodology for carrying out tasks

Full clean driving license
