Our Client is one of the largest independent specialist manufacturers within the UK.They offer a wide range of products and services both within the UK and internationally.

Job Profile:

As a small company the successful candidate can get involved in many aspects of the business, and no one day is exactly the same. For this role the successful candidate will be supporting the roles of finance, purchasing, health and safety, quality and human resources.

Key Account-abilities:

  • Enter purchase invoices and sales invoices into an accounts system
  • Raise purchase orders for health and safety consumables
  • Check and replenish first aid cabinets
  • Check production paperwork has been completed
  • Archive production paperwork
  • Send out customer statements
  • Chase emails
  • Update company notice boards
  • Bank cheques
  • Post nominal journals
  • Assist other departments with their admin tasks if required
  • Answering the telephone
  • Meeting and greeting

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a previous role would be desired however, it’s not essential
  • Be able to work well with others and in a team
  • Experience of IT skills would be useful, including experience with Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of SAGE Line 50 would be useful but again is not essential
  • Well-organised and be able to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

  • Eligible to join their life assurance/pension scheme after 3 month’s probation period
  • 28 days paid holiday including banks holidays
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm with 1 hour’s unpaid lunch break
