Sue Deaville - Director
My story started over 10 years ago as a trainee recruitment consultant, i then went onto progress to a senior consultant, i was then given the opportunity to open a new start up branch which i grasped with both hands. Having managed 2 successful branches i decided to take the next step of my journey and along with Sam SaferHandCare was born.
We strive to create a welcoming and friendly environment where everyone is welcome and look to provide the best service possible to all.
Sam Baddeley - Director
I began my road to recruitment as a sales advisor where i naturally progressed from an outbound sale advisor to a field sales executive, due to unforeseen circumstances within my family i changed career and began my journey within the care sector as a support worker. This then lead me into my first recruitment role combining both my sales and care experience together. I then found my calling and established myself which led me to having my first branch manager role. Since then a lot has changed and along with Sue we decided to open our first branch SaferHandCare.
Anne Beer MBE – Branch Administrator
Hello my name is Anne but most of my friends and family call me Annie B ,I recently joined SaferHandCare as the Branch Administrator.I have had a varied career over the years starting out as a self-employed licensee then moving on to work for Staffordshire County Council for 24 years during which time I was awarded an MBE for Services to the Community.My main function here at SaferHandCare is to ensure the smooth running of all things administrative, this includes sending DBS checks, screening candidates and ensuring all candidates are compliant and in line with the current CQC guidelines.
John Donaghy ( PTLLS Certified) – Branch Trainer
Hi my name is John and I joined SaferHandCare in the capacity of Branch Trainer, in previous roles I have worked with challenging behavior, mental health and learning disabilities. I am a certified PTTLS trainer with a vast amount of knowledge and experience which enables me to coach and train both experienced and un-experienced staff. I currently run all of the in-house training with SHC and I also run external training for care homes across the area.
Hannah Goldstraw - Care Manager
I fell into Recruitment around 6 years ago and have worked with a variety of individuals in a number of sectors since.
This is my first management role within healthcare, I am super excited to get stuck into the industry and to have joined the family at Safer Hand Care.
I have always been passionate about recruitment as I love meeting new people and enjoy how no two days are the same!
Providing clients and candidates with the best service possible is my number 1 priority.
When I’m not working I’m socialising with friends or finding new adventures to take our fur child (Mabel) on!
