We prioritise a friendly yet professional approach with both our candidates and clients, ensuring prompt responsiveness. Our 24/7 on-call support gives both clients and staff added peace of mind. As a key member of our team, you'll assist individuals with daily living, focusing on their comfort and well-being. Our Crewe-based homes deliver top-tier care, and you'll work collaboratively, supporting staff and residents across residential and nursing settings.Key Responsibilities of the Support Worker:Helping with daily routines (dressing, washing, grooming) as needed. Providing mobility support, including using aids or hoists. Administering or assisting with medications (if appropriately trained). Assisting with meal prep and ensuring dietary needs are met. Promoting independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting). Facilitating participation in social and leisure activities. Offering emotional support and companionship. Managing challenging behaviours with effective strategies. Addressing communication needs, including alternative methods (Makaton, PECS). Fostering emotional well-being and mental health through active listening. Upholding individual safety and dignity at all times. Adhering to safeguarding protocols and reporting concerns.Ideal Support Worker Candidate Profile:Proven healthcare experience in home or domiciliary care. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is a plus. Care Certificate completion is beneficial. Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor. Adaptability and comfort in a dynamic environment. Reliability and dedication to patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Eagerness for ongoing training and development. Valid Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS check (or willingness to obtain). Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship). As a healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring comfort and wellbeing. Our homes based in Crewe are well established homes providing high-quality care to all residents. You will work in a team at the Crewe homes supporting both staff and residents in residential or nursing home settings. The Support Worker will be: Assisting with daily living activities (e.g., dressing, washing, and grooming) when required. Supporting with mobility needs, including the use of aids or hoists if necessary. Administering or assisting with medication (if trained and authorised). Helping with meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs or preferences are met. Encouraging and assisting individuals to develop independent living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and money management. Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities. Providing emotional support and companionship. Supporting individuals in managing challenging behaviours using appropriate strategies. Assisting with communication needs, which may include using alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS). Promoting emotional well-being and mental health through encouragement and active listening. Always ensuring the safety and dignity of the individuals. Following safeguarding protocols and reporting any concerns where required. The ideal candidate for the Support Worker will have: Previous experience in Health Care role within a home setting or within domiciliary care. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable. Completion of the Care Certificate is desirable A compassionate, patient and caring nature. Ability and flexibility and comfortable working in fast changing environment. Being dependable and committed to patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A willingness to undergo relevant training and development. Enhanced Adults and Childrens DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Right to Work in the United Kingdom. No Sponsorship.
